The sacrifices of past and present servicemen and women will be honoured at Remembrance Day services in Glen Waverley and Clayton next week. Young people attending the services will be encouraged to accompany a veteran in laying a Remembrance poppy at the base of the cenotaph. The services are at the cenotaph, Kingsway, Glen Waverley, and the Clayton cenotaph in Centre Road at 10.30am on Wednesday, November 11. Next week, Waverley RSL members Ken Baldwin, Mal Carson, George Cooney and Paul Callanan, pictured, will share their stories with Journal readers. Picture: Lucy di Paolo
